Sarah Janine, oil on canvas, 28×22in, 2024
September 2–October 14, 2025
A picnic in the park, laughing with friends, freshly delivered mail, basking in the sun, and sitting in calm retrospection are some of the little things that make life worth living. The brief moments where the world stands still for just an instant, and a deep peace passes through. The sun beating down on my face as a cool breeze flows through the air. Moments of joy in just existing in a loved one’s company as the boundaries between the outside and inside blur. A cat stretching lazily as the day passes slowly by. Times when there is nothing to do, and I can breathe again as the world finally comes to a halt for just a little while.
