2024–2025

In 2024 and through 2025, I was focused on the relationship between my long-time interest in the figure and the emerging abstract compositions that free me from the difficult rules of anatomy. This exercise, which is the best I can call it, was valuable and illuminating. It allowed continual development of my visual language while showing how so many aspects of my abstract hand carry anthropomorphic traits. Each piece shares a common tempo and energy that makes them part of the same family. This is a commonality that I have long desired in my work. It is reassuring to see this growth.
